* No CMS

Add editable areas to your RapidWeaver Stacks pages. Unify offers a simple and easy to use web interface you can offer your clients, family members and others to have access to edit content in selected areas you your website.

The Unify Stack collection makes it easy to quickly add this to one or more Stacks pages in your Rapidweaver created web site. There are two stacks available:
- one for single editable areas in a page and you can add these as many times as you want.
- secondly what is called a repeatable block, here you can duplicate Unify elements without uploading additional pages.

The best part is, Unify itself is only $16 per domain.

We offer you the Unify Stack for a grand price of ….. $0. Yup, nada, nothing. Ok we’re just nice guys here at SupportCasts…. Well, we think so anyway. ;-)

We are big fans of the Stacks page style for Rapidweaver for nice and easy layout as well as drag’n'drop functionality.

    Kev: Are we splitting hairs here? After seeing the video, it sure seems like its CMS.

    What’s the difference?

    Thanks for the stacks. This solution is going to help me big time.

    Nice demo! I do have one question… After you made the changes from the browser… when you went back to rapidweaver did you see the updates there also? I ask because if you have a client making changes to pages through the browser and you are making changes to site in rapidweaver it seems like their could be some issues and I wouldn’t want to override the clients updates.

    Dave -
    Any changes made to a page on the server will NOT show up in the RW. Rapidweaver generates the page each time it’s published, so you are correct in assuming that if you make changes to a page and “re-publish” after the client has edited the live page on the server…the page on the server will be over-written. Some CMS apps have the capability of restoring content edits, so you can over-write the page, then restore the content.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Richard,

    Which CMS apps have the capability of restoring content edits? That would be a GREAT thing to know. Is Unify one of them? I don’t think CushyCMS has that feature so I’ve been hunting around for one that would work with RapidWeaver. Please help me narrow my search down. Thanks!

    I am amazed that we do not have a CMS Stack or Plug-in for Rapidweaver that acts like Loghound’s Rapidblog and keeps content changes in sync. It is truly amazing.
