I LOVE problem solving, so this way I can help my clients give me way more to solve! I can also not be the one making all the speling mistaiks if they put in the copy. These also look like the best CMS Stacks out there, and I use Stacks so much, what else would I want to use?

Looks like a serious option alright.

    Best,
    Karn.

  3. Fabio - http://littleoak.net says:

How is possible to be funny in a different language??
I can give you Mr Berlusconi and you give me unify. What do you think? Is the change accettable?

Anyway congratulation for your great work
    Fabio

    Thanks, best

    Why would I want Unify?

It takes work away from me by allowing my clients to make their own changes. I would find spare time to do what? I would no longer receive calls from my clients. And, I don’t think my clients can spel as well as I can and will make alot of misstakes.

    How silly is that?

    Thanks!
    Jim

I never win anything – so I am grovelling, begging, on my hands and knees, licking a few boots so please choose me and make my life ever so happy!!!

    Thank you
    Norman

  7. Richard - http://marketingaffectsyou.com says:

If a client updates content on their site and there’s no developer there to see it, is the client still a royal pain in the butt?

I’d like to Unify my relationship with several clients and find out.

    Cheers!

    Hello,

Once I got a mac, it was easy computing…
Then went Mac OS X, it was easy Unix…
Later came RapidWeaver, it was easy css…
Blocks and Stacks made the whole clean and organised, it was easy divs…
Now is Unify, it is easy publish…

Why do they go on telling me computers sucks ? (Ah, well may be it’s all about Win…ws)

(It is no kidding, I had my first Mac back in 1985, and really learnt Unix with (NeXT and) OSX and the web and CSS with RW. Blocks and Stacks lighted my day about xhtml and divs so did the reading of Realmacsoftware.com/forum)

Lots of thanks to you all who share your knowledge,

    Christophe

You only got 5?! I need all 5, so just send them my way! I have LOTS of uses for them!! There is no contest now, that makes me the winner! :P :P :D

I would be lost without you guys. The screen-casts have taken me from a novice to being a NOVICE. ( I am proud of those capitals ) The learning curve, involved with the tools you have been teaching me, would be a steep cliff without the tutorials. Thank you!

Unify looks like a very good CMS. Would love to be able to try it out and it may be the way I go in future for clients who want to update their own sites. Keeping my fingers (and everything else) crossed.

  12. Johnny - says:

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I viewed the SupportCasts
and really like what I see. I’ve never heard of Unify, until now.

And please, put my name “in the hat” for your Unify Give Away.

    Kindest regards,
    Johnny

Not games. No pleading. No cute sayings. No stupid pet tricks. Just a simple request.

    Thanks

  14. Ken Runquist - http://www.refalberta.ca says:

    Okay I am gravoling – I have even added a link (http://www.churchdwight.ca/product.php?productidx=32691).

Oh wait a minute, you said grovel, not gravol. I was wondering why you would want me to use anti-nausea medicine when having a copy of Unity would not make me sick. I must have got lost translating your message into Canadian, eh.

Anyway, I would lovvvvvvvvvvve a copy of Unity.

    Ken

  15. Jeff - http://www.100acrecorps.com says:

Gimme a copy or I’ll kick your ass.

  16. Jeff Abraham - http://www.naughtymonkeyband.com says:

I would love a copy of Unify because, quite honestly, I’m sick of dumb-ass clients who can’t even log into Google Documents to make changes to files. Unify looks unbelievably easy to use, even for morons :) That would be a great product slogan!

  17. Deb - says:

Fabio should get it – I can’t be funny in my own language, let alone another one! And you’d get Mr Berlusconi – bargain!

    Deb

  18. Scott - http://www.roundcubewebdesign.com says:

There once was a boy named finn
Who at giveaways could never win
I did not win in July
    A copy of Unify
So now I’m begging, groveling, imploring, sniveling, fawning, quailing on a bearskin

OK, so I’m no poet! I’m a web designer!!

  19. David DelMonte - http://eclecticplanet.org says:

I deserve a copy too. But I’m 10th or something, so I probably wont get a prize again. But just in case you get this far, please please please. I could really use a good CMS package.

    David

  20. Markus Frieauff - http://www.frieauff.com says:

Well, as you might know we are facing elections in Germany. Noone knows who the next chancellor will be. It might be Angie (Angela Merkel) or it might be the Rolling Stone (Frank-Walter Steinmeier). The heat is on. So much controversy! We need to unify the country again! Germany desperately needs this license!
If you give it to me, I promise: you will NOT get neither Angie nor the Rolling Stone in return! Now, that’s a better deal than having to care about Berlusconi (just imagine how many pretty girls he requires each day!).
Plus I’ll make an extra-super-premium offer: if you give the license to me, you won’t have to deal with Berlusconi either! No Angie, no Stone, no “Caimano” (B’s nickname).
It can’t get any better than this! Save our country and save yourself from its leaders! Send the license to Markus!

    :-)

  24. Andrew - http://www.aasitedesigns.com says:

I would have written a CMS system my self, but I couldn’t, so I didn’t. You wanted to write a better CMS system, and you could, so you did.

Since I couldn’t and didn’t, and you could and you did, I hope that this answer is sufficeient to get a copy of yours.

    Andrew

  25. JohnJ - says:

If you don’t give me a copy I am going to send nude pictures of myself (Imagine a human version of Peter Griffin) to both Larry and Kevin. Pick carefully gentlemen. Good luck to all.

  26. Harry Uggeldahl - says:

Please! One here to North EU

  27. David - says:

Five reasons I should receive a copy of Unify:

    (1) I work as an assistant principal (the discipline, athletics, facilities, disaster planning, etc. guy) at a high school. Enough said.

    (2) My first encounter with a Mac (Apple IIe) was in 1986 – I wrote the appendix to a federal grant proposal ($1,000,000 shared betwen Stanford and SDSU) that was designed to improve teacher training. If anyone reading this was in school in Southern California from 1988 on, you probably benefited in some way from that.

    (3) I continue to do work that (I think) benefits the educational community – what greater cause is there? Unify will help me complete more work, faster.

    (4) I’m saving up for an Intel-based Mac – every penny counts!

    (5) I promise not to send nude pics of me. Even that shouldn’t be left to the imagination.

    Thanks.

  28. Jan van den Berge - says:

Nice to see al those funny comments.
If I could write as well english as you all can do, maybe I could win one of those copy’s.
May be this isn’t as bad at all and tnx to you all I learned writing english, wow!!!
So, Iam not looking here for a free copy, I already win the biggest prize thanks to you. I can communicate in English and learned it by you fooks, tnx so much.

OH!!! By the way, this stack is really awesome ;-)

  29. Richard J. - http://www.bergan67.com says:

I need a solution that would allow a few individuals to post news items from remote locations. I toyed with setting up a forum, then a blog, and a couple of other ideas. But I accidentally discovered the Unify product and it was as thou the perfect solution fell out of the sky and hit me on the head…

This is neither funny nor groveling but it is true. Oh, and that “perfect solution” that fell out of the sky, that was compliments of a flock of birds… and that’s true too!!!

  30. Johnny - says:

    grov·el (grvl, grv-)
    intr.v. grov·eled also grov·elled, grov·el·ing also grov·el·ling, grov·els also grov·els
    1. To behave in a servile or demeaning manner.
    2. To lie or creep in a prostrate position, as in hide from view under a computer desk.
    3. To give oneself over to base pleasures: “Have we not groveled here long enough, salivating and potentially shorting out our keyboards?” (Sally Vatin).
    4. To compromise one’s non-begging principles in order to gain favor from the SupportCasts Team with the intended goal of scoring Free Stuff, as in the form of Unify: The simple in-browser content editor that anyone can use.
