And, the release of this screencast [...]

Charlie Lockhart of Blueball Design recently released his first official FreeStack Add-On Pack. I decided that we needed to take a cursory look at what’s available in this latest release and how this “add-on” should be a part of your Stacks library. You will want to watch this video tutorial through to the end for [...]

I have seen this stack in action. It is really a pretty, clean and awesome solution. You haven’t mess around with Java Script.
Excellent job Kevin!
Taking the original idea to the “next” level by adding the various color options and the “zero to hero” configuration.
Hi,
I paid through paypal, where can I download the new enhanced stack, please?
Thanks,
Shane.
Hi Shane,
Kevin is responsible for this Stack and is in transit toward home. The transaction is run via e-junkie with PayPal as the payment gateway. You should have seen a “success” page with download information and received and email with the same information in it. Check you junk mail folder too. If this does not answer the question then I am sure Kevin will help you as soon as he is back online.
Larry
Yep as Larry says, just check the spam/junk folder too.
But Shane is all sorted now :)

I have followed this video exactly and the player just says file not found. I have not yet published the player but what could I be doing wrong? It is an mp3 file I play is from the file http://www.thedyslexicobserver.com/1.mp3 link it from that and still get file not found. Sorry I’m a bit of a novice.
Toby
Publish your Page this is a problem with Flash permissions, see developer of the Stack FAQ pages http://symfonip.com/helpdesk/faq.html
Regards
OK…..it works. Had to redo it all (shut down computer, restart RW,reload the player) but it’s there. Thanks!!!!
Of course. It works thank you for the fast response and your time!
Toby

Hi! I published a website with the mp3 player and when looking on safari (mac) everythings ok but on IE I can’t figure out why but the player stay in grey and no color and the width isn’t smaller than the original. Why?
PC with flash 10 and IE 7.0
Get in touch with SymfoniP [http://symfonip.com/contact] with details of your Theme, website address and what other 3rd party plugins you are using , this will help greatly
Hi guys – this stack looks great, but I have no idea how to create a link to the MP3??? Sorry – complete beginner!
have a look at the screencast over at symfonip [http://symfonip.com/store/mp3stack.php].com , all you do is add the MP3 stack once and that’s it
Oh yeah I watched that & it says that once you add the stack you have to create a link to where the mp3 file is & in my case that’s on my computer.
I was not sure how to create the link, but after i sent that last post I used the name or extension to create the link – is that right?
It seemed to work cos it created the Flash Player but it said ‘File not Found’ when I tried to play it.
Any advice much appreciated . . .
have a look at the FAQ [http://symfonip.com/helpdesk/index.html] please , more than likely you may have a flash permissions problem, that is usually always the case the with file not found or indeed the file link is not correct
Adding a link is done using the add link button in RW to the url where your mp3 file is! if there any issues then contact symfonip with detauils of your site, url, mp3 file etc
Thank you for very much for you advice.
However, maybe I am not making myself clear. I understand how to add the mp3 stack & I understand how to create a link, but what I don’t understand is what I am linking to. If the mp3 is just sitting on my desktop do I link it to the name of that mp3?
My only experience of creating links is to a url, not something within my computer, therefore I do not understand what I am linking to.
Thanks for your patience!
Add the MP3 to the Assets of the page using the Page Inspector in RW. Then highlight the text on the page and us the link “+” button and select the MP3 file to link to.
Otherwise, upload the MP3 to your server and then get the full (absolute) URL to the file and link the text or image on the page in RW to it.
Great! Thank you so much!
Hi there, I managed to add the mp3 to the assets & create the link as you suggested, & now the mp3 is playing fine in Rapid Weaver = great!
However, when I try & publish it fails & says:
FTP Publishing Error
Failed to create remote directory ‘assets/Myspiritradio-leo.mp3′
Any ideas? Do you think this is a Flash permission error? I want to double check before I try & figure out the Flash stuff because it looks a bit complicated to me.
Thank you!
I bought the plugin. It is not as easy as supposed. I hoped it would be as easy as to drop a mp3 file to the stack window and set the prefs. No the mp3 files need to be online. This is a bummer.
hi there
Looking at your page it would be easy to transfer the existing anchor links you have to a Stacks page and then apply the MP3 stack . The stack needs to know where the files are whether it is a asset in RapidWeaver or an external url the premium stack will then transform all the valid mp3 links to a flash player .
I thank you for this article, it is super good, excellent share! Thanks
I am looking to sell hip hop instrumentals online. Could I use this with payloom somehow?
Best regards.
I downloaded this stack. In rapidweaver it works fine but is unable to find file.. I understand why thats happening. However, when I publish the website it only shows up as a link that brings me to a separate page. The player is not showing up on my website.
Please Help!
Best regards
You will need the Stacks Plugin from YourHead.com and then install the MP3 Stack
Yes you can , the screencast on SymfoniP does this
I purchased the mp3 stack. I’m using Rapidweaver 4 but don’t know how to install/use the stack. Can you please provide a step-by-step instructions on how to install and use the mp3 stack? Thanks!
As long as you have the stacks plugin installed from yourhead.com
Drag the contents (left to right) to the Stacks folder Alias.
Note: If the stacks plugin is correctly installed there should be a folder
/Users/‘your user name’/Library/Application Support/RapidWeaver/Stacks/
This is where all your stacks add ons are installed.
I am having problems with the audio player I have followed instructions. but I comes up as a link on another page and I also can’t get it to autoplay??
Please help
See the manual [http://support.symfonip.com/entries/165074-manual-symsoundman-and-mp3-stacks-usage-manual] if you have additional problems open up a ticket with SymfoniP
The Developer of the MP3 Stack should have a support system in place for help and tutorials on that or a manual. If not let me know
