Even with the z index at 9999 de drop down menu from the navbar doesn’t appear .

Gear Sir ,
I am used to work with blocks, its very see to set up websites .But pages in pages give some problems on IE 7etc.
I want to move to stacks ,is there a manuel or screencast where you can learn to bild up a website from scratch only using stacks and ad ons in stacks.

this all depends on which way you are using PlusKit ?

Are you ‘pluskitting’ to the stacks page or from a Stack page to the RW Blog Page ? the way the RW Blog Page operates is not like a usual page as it has additional subpages handled in PHP beneath it .

Mind you this cast was produced some time ago !

Make sure you have the latest Flash Player installed. This usually fixes the play issue. Videos are working for me now.

I’m would be very interested in a course of this nature. I appreciate that it might take some effort to develop so would pay a commensurate rate. i.e. a different rate for Begginners; Intermediate & Advanced.

Let me apologize that in the video I share some resources that Will Woodgate had available at the time the screencast was made. Will was unaware that I referenced his web site. He has since consolidated things on his site and removed the image files I referenced.

Will and I have been in contact, as of this post, and he will be re-adding some resources back to his site for download and those items will make their way to this part of his site – http://www.themeflood.com/resources/

Hi Andreas,

I don’t make it habit to host my client’s site for them. So they don’t have access to my server, they have access to the host they pay for.

Dynamic Content was the first stack that allowed a ‘client’ to control content in a RapidWeaver environment. Content Management options have grown since then. As Larry pointed out, PulseCMS.

I find that when a client wants control over content that I need to ensure to provide them with a variety of options, that I should be skilled in using, so they can determine which option best suits them.

This was Charlie’s first Stack. Who knows if anyone is truly using it. FreeStacks is his main gig now other than themes. But you need to have Rapidweaver and Stacks to use it. So the Designer is still involved. I think I would use Pulse CMS instead of this stack.

I may be missing something here, but it appears that this is only useful for the web designer himself.

For a CMS that is useful to clients, giving them access to your server to edit XML files with additional applications doesn’t sound remotely viable (excuse the pun).

Most webdesigners would only be comfortable letting their clients edit content on a browser, without any extra apps, and without having to deal with XML code (or HTML, or PHP, or Javascript, for that matter).
