FreeStacks Add-On Pack #1 – Free Public Video

FreeStacks Addon PackCharlie Lockhart of Blueball Design recently released his first official FreeStack Add-On Pack.

I decided that we needed to take a cursory look at what’s available in this latest release and how this “add-on” should be a part of your Stacks library.

How To Create A Custom Facebook Page With MapDesign

Rage SoftwareIf you are using Facebook to connect with customers, you should definitely make your Facebook page resemble your business.

This can be done in various ways, but is most commonly done by using what is known as “Boxes.” These boxes are created using an app on Facebook which allows users to add HTML and CSS to their “boxes.”

This video tutorial is going to show you how you can create these boxes. This will make it so that users navigating through your Facebook page can land on your custom box and an image, or images that resembles your website, or promotional material. The application used to create the interactive image is called MapDesign. Follow all the steps correctly, and your custom Facebook page will be up in no time!

Free Video: Scaling Background Image Using jQuery

jquery LogoGetting a background image to scale to 100% of the viewer’s browser window width and height is tricky. Pure CSS or even CSS3 do a good job in many browser but fail in IE6, IE7 and even IE8. Opera and others fail depending on how you do it with CSS.

jQuery steps up to the plate and solves it. Well, almost. Just one little niggle. If you can live with it then this is the solution for you in all browser except IE6.

Stacks Plug-In Overview – Public Cast

Stacks Plugin for RapidweaverI felt it high time I got around to this video tutorial so we could dig in and take a look under the hood of Stacks.
Stack was created by Isaiah over at YourHead for Rapidweaver. There is a “Demo” download version available at his site if you don’t already own the Plug-In.

In this video tutorial I go over what the 8 built in stacks are, take a look at the Page Inspector and the HUD (Heads Up Display). The purpose of the tutorial is to give us a starting point to the Stacks Plug-In.
