Automatic Popover Modal Window in Rapidweaver

Modal PopoverA recent request from an RW User prompted this video tutorial on now to get an automatic popover with a newsletter form in a Rapidweaver created web site. Here is one way to do it in two versions. One that pops on every visit to the page or only the first time as a cookie is set.

Stacks RW Blog & FlowBox

Free Show: Following a post in the forum, there was some confusion as to how we make these cool effects apply in addition RapidWeaver pages.

So this very short video should help clear this up by showing you how to add a RW Blog page  into Stacks , add the FlowBox stack and some Pluskit magic which has been covered here before ;)

I have already applied a Stacks page with no stacks and a Blog Page , in the Blog Page I have made a link to a movie file , so lets get weaving and last of all enjoy the show

If you have other stacks, the pluskit import still applies .

Many services, like email and newsletter online companies, generate an sign-up form for your account so users are able to join your mailing list. Many of these are contained in older table styles html and have inline styling.

Introducing a series of videos coming from our guest screencaster Ed Brenner of My RapidWeaver and the RealMac Software forums fame.

Ed has compiled a short overview of a neat utility Spread2Web.

Just what does it do :  Well this is the blurb from the developers website
“Spread2Web helps you publish spreadsheets & databases as tables on web pages. It converts Comma Separated Values (.csv) and Tab Delimited (.tab) files to a simple, clean HTML table structure. It streamlines the export/conversion process by remembering the files you’ve previously converted…”

Spread2Web is freeware. However, donations will be gratefully accepted by the developer , so do the right thing if you are using it :)

RW049 – Collage2 Fluid Width & Spacing

A Rapidweaver Forum user recently asked about some uneven spacing between Collage2 items when they had the theme set to fluid width and the built in “grid” unchecked. Un-checking the “grid” no longer forces the Collage2 items into a fixed set of columns. Some of the items did not show as spaced evenly. RW049 show the simple fix.
