RapidWeaver Resources Course 4

RapidWeaver 5In this last class we are going to look at how to use a resource file in the custom CSS panel of RapidWeaver’s Page Inspector.

We are also going to discuss how a resource file has to be accessed if you create separate, or external, CSS files. We won’t create any external stylesheets as this tends to cover a more advanced topic that would be better covered in a separate set of lessons.

RWBasics010 – Offsite Page Style

The Offsite Page type allows you to link to any URL, generally a web page outside of your website, that you want to link to. It is also quite useful in linking up a Rapidweaver created website that has been broken into multiple web site projects to help reduce the size of a large project or potential size.

Creating multiple Rapidweaver projects  and publishing them to sub folders or sub domains on your server is a great way to make it easy to update even small parts of a site. In this cast we look at this for use in a Photo Album site. But it could be any site that needs to be broken down into components to make it easy to work with.
